A solid external rack with two industrial touch screens, combined with practical and immediate physical controls, was added to the mechanically overhauled structure.
In addition to high-performance load cells, capable of a resolution of 200,000 divisions and of detecting a maximum force of 20 kN (2,000 kg), the retrofitted machine was equipped with a table with ‘T’ slots, to easily accommodate all the instruments required for performing the test.
