TESTING SOFTWARE USED WITH THE AURA TENSILE RANGE

Our system is based on several cards (for axis control + load cell reading) with CAN-bus connection, for displacements to position or force, with 1000 Hz feedback speed.

The reading of the loading cell therefore takes place 1000 times per second, with a maximum resolution of 200,000 divisions.

Operation and numeric control happen though a sturdy industrial touch screen computer, provided with a powerful Hard Disk for data and recipe storage.

The EasyQS testing software has been fully developed by Easydur for Windows 10/11 platform and allows operations such as internal management of archives, redaction of statistics and certificates in Excel format: it is fully modular and customizable.

The capacities of the optional loading cells, which can be up to 3, can be combined based on individual needs (from 100 N to 1.000 kN). For higher loads up to 3.000 kN we recommend the installation of only one load cell.

TESTING SOFTWARE: EASE OF USE

With EasyQS testing software the creation of test recipes is fast and can either start totally by zero, or be guided by our wizard (for example, a test recipe requiring the integration of an oven for high-temperature tensile tests according to ASTM E21 standard can be saved and recalled at will, in a matter of seconds).

The test can be completed simply by using the buttons on the front panel, without any need to access the previously set programs.

LOAD CELLS PROTECTION AND SAFETY FEATURES  OF THE TENSILE TESTING MACHINE

The two-column self-supporting structure with ball screws and the electronics allow sinusoidal profile stress cycles that preserve the integrity of the machine and allow excellent performance.

This also thanks to the precision granted by the ball screw driven movement, which occurs via means of DC brushless motors, coupled with an absolute encoder (or optical scale).

The 3 load cells are always mounted on the machine, removing any need for assembling/disassembling and can be selected using the software. Each cell is protected from overload even when not in use. The release of the axis is automatic in case of out of scale value or unforeseen impact. Built-in cell sagging compensation and adjustable testing speed complete the set of features related to load cells preservation.

TESTING MACHINES AND INDUSTRY 4.0: THE NEW FRONTIER OF MATERIAL TESTING

The Aura Tensile range and the dedicated testing software EasyQS are designed to allow our customers to operate in full compliance with the INDUSTRY 4.0 philosophy, thanks to the possibility of interfacing the machine with the company management software.

This happens through OPC-UA Unified Architecture: the purpose of this integration is to offer a software structure that allows time-varying data stored in Easydur equipment to be displayed on a LAN network.

The resulting architecture is bidirectional, allowing the customer’s management system to send information (e.g., recipe name) to the Easydur testing machine and, conversely, for the Easydur machine to receive the results of the recipe sent.

Amongst the advantages of Industry 4.0 implementation we find the creation of ad-hoc reports and statistics, as well as other functionalities like the possibility to evaluate the OEE parameter (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) with the aim of optimizing the testing step of the production process, and reducing wastes.
