Il est r\u00e9alis\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019aide du\u00a0<strong>pendule Charpy<\/strong>, un instrument d\u2019essai normalis\u00e9 qui effectue l\u2019essai au moyen d\u2019une masse calibr\u00e9e contrainte \u00e0 un axe, qui est abaiss\u00e9 sur un \u00e9chantillon serr\u00e9 aux extr\u00e9mit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>La\u00a0<strong>pr\u00e9paration de l\u2019\u00e9chantillon<\/strong>\u00a0est ce qui caract\u00e9rise l\u2019essai de r\u00e9silience : il est\u00a0<strong>grav\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019aide d\u2019une brocheuse<\/strong>, toujours selon des normes sp\u00e9cifiques.<\/p>\n<p>Une fois l\u2019essai termin\u00e9, deux r\u00e9sultats principaux sont obtenus : la <strong>valeur de r\u00e9silience<\/strong>, fournie par la machine d\u2019essai, et la\u00a0<strong>d\u00e9formation
