<strong>forza di flessione<\/strong> e il <strong>modulo elastico a flessione<\/strong> viene impiegato per le materie plastiche rigide e semirigide, applicando una forza al centro di un provino collocato su un supporto a due punti, i quali sommati al punto di contatto con il flessore portano ad un totale di <strong>3 punti<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019obiettivo \u00e8 quello di provocare la piegatura del campione, portandolo alla <strong>rottura<\/strong> o, in caso contrario, proseguendo fino al raggiungimento del <strong>5% di deformazione flessionale<\/strong>, per misurare lo <strong>stress di flessione<\/strong> (alla rottura o al 5%), la <strong>deformazione flessionale<\/strong>, il <strong>modulo di flessione<\/strong> e la <strong>resistenza alla flessione<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Per poter registrare correttamente i dati durante la prova di flessione \u00e8 necessario disporre di sistemi moderni ed efficienti come quelli proposti da Easydur, capaci di garantire <strong>frequenze di campionamento pari a 1 kHz<\/strong> (mille campioni raccolti al secondo).<\/p>\n<p>Il metodo di prova ISO 178 definisce anche le <strong>velocit\u00e0<\/strong> con cui eseguire il test: il <strong><em>Metodo A<\/em><\/strong> prevede una velocit\u00e0 costante per tutta la durata della prova, mentre il <strong><em>Metodo B<\/em><\/strong> impone di iniziare con una velocit\u00e0, e di incrementarla quando si supera la regione iniziale del modulo.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div><div  class='flex_column dal momento che il metodo di prova ISO 178 presenta dei <strong>requisiti di precisione ben definiti<\/strong>, si noti come i sistemi di prova Easydur garantiscano l\u2019ottemperanza a tali specifiche grazie alla precisione del movimento della traversa pari a 1 \u03bcm (modello <a href=\"https:\/\/www.easydur.com\/en\/categorie-prodotti\/dyno-universal-5-kn-low-load-universal-testing-machine\/\"><strong><u>Dyno Universal<\/u><\/strong><\/a>, 5 kN) superiore rispetto al minimo richiesto di 3,4 \u03bcm (l\u20191% di 340 \u03bcm, valore rilevante per calcolare il modulo di flessione).<\/p>\n<p>Le velocit\u00e0 richieste per eseguire questa prova, si attestano a <strong>1 mm\/min<\/strong> per campioni il cui spessore rientri tra 1 e 3.5 mm, con tolleranze di +\/- 20%. Le macchine di prova Easydur sono caratterizzate da velocit\u00e0 operative che raggiungono un minimo di 0.005 mm\/min.<\/p>\n<p>Anche le celle di carico, con le loro <strong>200.000 divisioni operative<\/strong>, contribuiscono alle altissime prestazioni in fatto di precisione delle macchine Easydur.<\/p>\n<h3>L&#8217;attrezzatura per prove di flessione<\/h3>\n<p>Per quanto riguarda l\u2019<strong>attrezzatura<\/strong> con la quale equipaggiare la macchina di prova per ottemperare alla norma <strong>ISO 178<\/strong>, si consideri che i due supporti laterali devono essere assemblati in modo da risultare paralleli con una tolleranza di +\/- 0,2 mm sulla larghezza del provino. Inoltre, la distanza <em>d<\/em> tra i due supporti, deve poter essere regolata.<\/p>\n<p>La stessa norma, indica inoltre come calcolare il corretto raggio dei bordi sia del flessore (R1), che dei due supporti laterali (R2):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>R1 = 5,0 mm +\/- 0,1 mm<\/li>\n<li>R2 = 2,0 mm +\/- 0,2 mm (per campioni dallo spessore sotto i 3 mm)<\/li>\n<li>R2 = 5,0 mm +\/- 0,2 mm (per campioni con
