This privacy policy is intended to describe the management method of the site https://www.easydur.com/, (hereinafter only the Site), with regard to the processing of personal data, regardless of whether users are only visitors or registered users who use the services described and regulated by the contractual provisions published by the company (hereinafter, Users).

Easydur Italiana di Renato Affri respects the confidentiality of Users in accordance with the GDPR legislation and subsequent implementing regulations and guarantees them the possibility of accessing the privacy legislation during each phase of the treatment.

This privacy statement applies exclusively to data acquired through the Site and is provided only for the Site mentioned above and not also for sites, sections or pages that may be consulted by the User via specific links. Users are invited to consult the documents relating to data processing before browsing the related sites.

  1. Data Controller
    The Data Controller of the personal data of users who visit, browse, access the Site in order to use the services offered is Easydur with registered office in Induno Olona (VA), via Monte Tagliaferro, 8 (tax code FFRRNT54B04L682R, VAT number 01560520122), in the person of its legal representative Mr. Renato Affri, born in Varese on 4/02/1954 (tax code FFRRNT54B04L682R).

    Easydur, in compliance with the provisions of the Civil Code and with the sector legislation, is a subject with legal personality and operates with the aim of designing, building, manufacturing and selling measuring instruments.

    Easydur is responsible for the processing of data, their collection and conservation, as well as, at the request of the User, their cancellation (so-called right to be forgotten).

  2. Purpose of the Treatment
    The data provided by Users will be processed manually or with the support of IT means for the pursuit of the following purposes:

    a) Collection of statistics on the use of the Site
    The computer systems used to operate the Site acquire, during their normal operation, the following data, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols: IP addresses or domain names of the computers connected to the Site, addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the requested resources, method and time of request to the server, size of the file obtained in response, numerical code indicating the status of the server’s response and other parameters relating to the operating system and the User’s IT environment .

    These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the Site and to check its correct functioning, but could be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of computer crimes against the Site. It is specified that this function is automatically prepared by the provider.

    b) Processing of requests for information:
    Following a possible request for information from a visitor to the Site, Easydur will be able to acquire the following data communicated by the requester in order to process the request: name, surname, e-mail address and telephone number.

    These data will be kept for the time necessary to make it possible to process the request.

    c) User profile registration and access to Platform services:
    The visitor who wants to become a User of the Site and receive the newsletter and its attachments, must necessarily register by communicating the following data: name and surname or company name and e-mail address; these data will be kept for the time necessary to guarantee the User continuous access to the services offered by the Site and, in any case, for a period not exceeding 10 years.

    Alternatively, the visitor can register using their social profile (e.g.: Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+). In this case, Easydur will have access to the data made public by the User (e.g.: name, surname, gender, date of birth, place of birth, city of residence, e-mail address, photographs, videos, etc.). In addition to the data indicated above, useful for registering one’s profile on the Platform, some additional information (e.g.: number of connections and/or date of registration on social networks) will be consulted in order to verify and ensure the reliability of the contact and to guarantee safety of other Users of the Platform.

    d) Collection of sensitive and ultra-sensitive data:
    Easydur, through the Site, only collects sensitive and non-sensitive data.

    e) Correspondence between Easydur and the Users:
    Easydur, in order to protect the safety of Users and to provide a better service, keeps track of correspondence with Users and the platform

    f) Data relating to minors:
    Easydur does not accept registrations from Users under the age of 18.

    g) Protection of Easydur:
    In addition to the aforementioned purposes, the Company keeps the data collected in order to protect its rights in the event of legal and non-judicial proceedings.

    With reference to the processing of personal data according to the purposes indicated in article 2, the data indicated as mandatory during registration are necessary for the use of the services and the lack of consent to provide such data will only make it impossible to use the service.

    The provision of non-mandatory data is totally optional and free and failure to provide them in any way precludes the use of the services by the User.

    However, when this happens, the User may be unable to use certain features within the Site that require the availability of certain information.

    h) Statistical surveys and improvement of the service:
    Easydur collects information in anonymous and aggregated form in order to conduct internal statistical surveys and improve the quality of the service offered through the Platform.

    i) Marketing:
    Subject to specific, separate, informed and optional consent from the User, Easydur may send, for marketing purposes, newsletters and commercial communications relating to the services promoted by Easydur.

  3. Data Recipients
    Easydur, as Data Controller of personal data for the purposes referred to in point 2, communicates that the following subjects could be recipients of the data collected.

    a) Employees of the company:
    All those who, due to their duties, should find themselves managing, collecting, archiving, modifying or deleting the data collected through the Site, have been specifically trained for this task as well as informed about the appropriate methods of treatment in accordance with the law and about the consequences of any violations. All Company employees are bound by an obligation of confidentiality.

    b) External providers:
    Easydur announces that it has conferred various services to external providers who, therefore, are recipients of the non-sensitive data provided by the User.

    For activities related to the correct functioning of the Site, personal data may be accessible to hosting, e-mail, newsletter management service providers, bound to comply with the GDPR legislation and the related implementing regulations. For the specific methods of treatment, please refer to the respective policies published on the relative websites.

    c) Software house:
    In order to allow Users to use the services available on the site, the data entered by Users will be transmitted to the company that manages its operation with the respective server

    d) Authority:
    All identification data of Users may be transmitted, pursuant to the law or in good faith, to the competent Authorities if requested by them or if it is believed that access, storage or disclosure are functional to:

    – In the event of an emergency involving public health;

    – any liability assessments;

    – fulfill legal procedures;

    – fulfill contractual obligations with Users;

    – respond to claims made against Easydur;

    – protection of the rights, property or safety of Easydur of its associates or employees;

    – it becomes necessary in relation to complaints, claims, expenses, or investigations undertaken by Easydur or its representatives, insurers, law enforcement agencies in relation to requests for compensation, use and abuse of the Site or other types of investigation.

    e) Extraordinary operations:
    In the event of extraordinary corporate operations (e.g.: merger) the Users’ personal data may be assigned and/or transferred to the new managers/buyers/holders of securities. In this case, this information will be promptly updated with the references of the new owners and managers.

    However, as regards any sensitive data, the same will not be disclosed to third parties, for any purpose, without the User’s consent. In any case, Easydur’s obligation not to hinder any judicial investigations remains in such a way that the data requested by the investigating Authority must be transmitted according to the Judge’s provision.

  4. Data transfer abroad
    Personal data may be transferred to countries belonging to the European Union and also to non-EU countries. Easydur a undertakes to guarantee adequate levels of data protection and safeguarding, including contractual data, in compliance with the applicable rules, including the provision of standard contractual clauses.
  5. Period of retention of personal data
    Personal data is kept for the time necessary to pursue the purposes indicated above to the extent of the service relationship established with the Data Controller; these data are kept, within the limits of the aforementioned duration, in order to guarantee Users access to the services and the possibility of using them in safety, except for the need for contractual, administrative, fiscal, accounting or legal obligations subsequent to the termination of the relationship . In any case, the data will not be kept for more than 10 years.

    Subsequently, the data will be deleted, except for the need to keep them within the terms established by law.

  6. Access, rectification, cancellation, limitation and opposition to the processing of personal data
    Easydur only keeps the data communicated by the User, who can request access at any time by sending an e-mail to info@easydur.com The data stored by Easydur are exclusively those communicated by the User, who can request rectification modifying them directly on the personal page or requesting the company, by sending an e-mail to the address info@easydur.com, to implement the changes made.

    The User can modify the data stored directly on the personal page or request the deletion of the stored data by sending an e-mail to info@easydur.com and Easydur within the limits of article 5, will provide to satisfy the User’s request.

    Finally, the User may request the limitation or oppose the processing of personal data by sending an e-mail to info@easydur.com. Easydur, within the limits of article 5, will satisfy the User’s request.

  7. Withdrawal of consent to the processing of personal data

  8. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
    The User is informed of the possibility of proposing a complaint to the Supervisory Authority – identified in the Privacy Guarantor Authority, if he believes that his rights regarding the processing of personal data have been violated.

  9. Automated Decision-Making Process – Profiling
    Easydur carries out the profiling of its Users. The data provided by Users could be used for statistical purposes for access and frequency of the Site and for marketing purposes.
  10. Data Retention and Security
    The data collected through the Site are allocated on servers owned by Easydur and by third parties which implement the European legislation on the conservation and security of personal data. The related information to which reference is made will be available directly from third parties which will be communicated to the user who explicitly requests it.

    Easydur recognizes the importance of protecting the personal data of Website Users. Easydur adopts all possible security policies and measures aimed at protecting the personal data of Users and of the systems used for the correct functioning of the Website in compliance with current regulations. In particular, Easydur has implemented personal data protection measures against accidental or intentional tampering, loss, destruction or unauthorized access to the data collected online.

    However, although Easydur continues to implement and increase security measures based on technological developments and industry standards, due to the very nature of the Internet, these measures cannot totally exclude the possibility of unauthorized access to data and their spread. Consequently, Users are invited to periodically update the network data transmission protection software and to check that the provider of electronic communications services has adopted appropriate means for the security of data transmission on the networks. Users are reminded that access to their account containing personal data is only possible by entering a username and password. In order to protect their data, Users are advised not to disclose or make such information available to third parties.

    In case of violation of the normal security measures by the user, Easydur cannot be held responsible for any unauthorized access and dissemination of data.

    Easydur stores sensitive and non-sensitive data collected through the Site by collecting them in password-protected computer files available only to the employee who manages them. The data is also stored in paper files kept in a locked archive. Easydur uses Antivirus and Firewall to protect its IT systems.

  11. Changes
    Easydur may modify or update this privacy policy at any time in compliance, among other things, with the new provisions of the law or for purely technical reasons. The changes and updates will be notified to the User and will be effective from the moment of publication on the Site. If, pursuant to the law, the changes require the User’s consent, Users will be required to provide explicit consent. By virtue of this, users are invited to consult the page to check the updated version of the privacy policy on the Site.

Information pursuant to EU Regulation no. 679 of 2016 regarding the processing of personal data

Pursuant to and for the purposes of the provisions of article 13 of EU Regulation no. 679 of 2016, Easydur Italiana di Renato Affri communicates:

a) that Easydur Italiana is the owner of the processing of personal data;
b) that the data will be processed for the following purposes:
collection of statistics on the use of the Platform;
processing requests for information;
III. access to the services offered by the Platform;

provision of the service and finalization of agreements;
correspondence between Easydur and the Users;
guardianship of Easydur;

d) the data collected and processed will be kept for the time necessary to pursue the purposes referred to in letter b);
e) the interested party may request the data controller referred to in letter a), access to the data communicated and/or their rectification, cancellation, request the limitation or oppose the treatment of the same by sending an e-mail to the address info@easydur.com;
f) that the interested party is entitled to lodge a complaint with the competent authority;
g) that the communication of personal data is a necessary requirement for the conclusion of the contract and to fulfill the legal, fiscal and legal obligations deriving from it.
